But it's actually great.

At this price point, that's amazing. I've paired mine with Edison LED bulbs and they look fantastic. They even come with a couple of ceiling hooks which I didn't need this time but definitely appreciated having them. The cord is made from a nicer braided fabric rather than hard flat plastic and is a reasonable length for most basic uses. Personally, I would have preferred a longer cable, but I have high ceilings, so that's a factor. However, if you want a draped effect or want to position it well away from the lower wall socket, you may need a short extension. In any case, as many others have said, the only downside to these lamps is the poorly designed terminals. holding the bottom frame in place. They just don't work, and even when you think you've finally figured out the secret behind their ridiculousness and forced them into submission, they tend to back off at will. Luckily, I'm "one of those guys" who keeps haphazard little things and pompoms out of everything, and I had quite a few black ties of all kinds. Electronics lying around. Two of them on each lamp held the clips in place and went unnoticed unless pointed to. If I didn't have them I'd probably try black tape or some other simple jury rig. But for those who don't care, the lamps actually look pretty good without the base, so there they are. High class, if they definitely aren't. Unfortunately, the bottom clip issue is a major downside for some, so consider this before purchasing. On the other hand, if you're like me and love a lot, as well as a simple DIY project, this could be a great option that honestly doesn't require much effort (and for the price, it's totally worth the small effort). ).
