I think Robinair have had success with this side tap for 134a and oil tanks. The build quality showed on the first can I pierced with this faucet. I had to use my strength to get the first can so the faucet handles were blocked, the second can was much easier. I've only had a faucet a few weeks and have only pierced 22 134a and 4 oils. burden the banks for the time being. no leakage problems as long as each can is sealed. If you are only using part of the cylinder you can quickly unscrew the suction hose when needed with minimal refrigerant loss and the cylinder valve will retain the contents of the cylinder. Although I prefer to use the top tap to refill those last few incomplete cans so I can easily cap them and store them for later use, I like it.
