🔄 Robinair 10102 2-in-1 Side Can Tap for R12 and R134A AC Refrigerants and Oils Review

I've used this with about 10 canisters of refrigerant so far without any problems. Before using it I loosened and re-tightened the Schrader valves on the R12 and R134a fittings and had no problem holding pressure at the tap. I left the bottle on the faucet connected to the pressure gauges for over a week and at the end of the week I didn't notice a drop in pressure.

Used twice so far. The main reason I bought this is because I sometimes use a vacuum pump to bleed the brakes. I don't want brake fluid getting inside. I can add R134A to the top of an empty can. I then have two holes on top and about 12 ounces of liquid space with a safety margin. Sealing is much better than wrapping tape around the hoses, which doesn't last long once brake fluid comes in contact with it.

I think Robinair have had success with this side tap for 134a and oil tanks. The build quality showed on the first can I pierced with this faucet. I had to use my strength to get the first can so the faucet handles were blocked, the second can was much easier. This versatile unit uses R12/134A and the appropriate pressurized oil charges. Everything on the unit is fine except for the leaking valve on port 134A. When using the R12 connector by connecting to the inflation hose, the pressure from the bottle caused the unused connector to leak out of the R12.
