The cushioning was better than expected, I ran with them today and they were very comfortable, the tread was very grippy although I don't ride rough trails, I mostly run in the park. The soles are SUPER thick which I love, if you like thin soled shoes that focus on foot strength look elsewhere. I run them about a mile and a half three times a week and I don't have much trouble with them, I don't rub or rub. Walking with them is just as smooth or even better, I've had them for about three months now and I will definitely be buying them again
