It smells but it's great

When I first opened it you could smell the smoke-like chemical it was made from. After a few days it went away and is working fine. I've used it for soldering, and while the tiniest imperfections are due to excessive heat, it's relatively stable. I use it to hold screws when working on small projects and the little "cups" on top are perfect and overall I have no other issues with it.
