I checked out some of the other reviews and was surprised that people give stars for the smallest things. Although I bought my first trailer earlier this week, my dad has had at least one since I was a kid (I'm in my 50's now!) and he's always had trouble with mirror extensions on his tow truck. . The other reviewers don't seem to be aware of the problems. I like these mirrors very much. They snapped when I needed them (albeit with a little flattery from the Big Fancy Screwdriver), stayed when I drove, snapped (no flattery) when I didn't need them, didn't move or slosh (it was a windy day when I got it from the dealer) and they look great on the car. They come with a nice carry case so the mirrors don't get scratched during storage. It wasn't easy to set them up properly. I had a dad in the passenger seat coming back from the dealership and we never got it right. I would prefer if the mirror on the other side wasn't so convex. Speaking of which, it takes some getting used to - you'll end up seeing double and looking in the wrong mirror until you do! All that being said, this is a huge help for my 20ft trailer on my 300ft curve road (with a narrow bridge in the middle).
