Review on NIUTO NT173FHD-001 Portable Ultra Slim 17" IPS Speakers with 1920X1080 Resolution by Tony Kucrud

While I would definitely say that this monitor is overpriced, it's a solid monitor that's very portable and has colors and image quality that are worth picking up. It's got a very nocturnal carbon fiber lid that doubles as a kickstand (although it's not adjustable, which is a shame) and also attaches with magnets so you can easily remove it if you need to. As I said, the picture quality is actually very good, it says 1080p, but I've seen a lot of monitors claiming this and don't seem to have the sharpness of this one. I also edit a lot of photos so color accuracy is important to me and while it's a bit closer to the light side it has very clear, vibrant colors that are great for everyday use. To use this monitor, all I need is a USB-C cable and my MacBook Pro; A cable supplies the device with power and also transmits the video stream. Unfortunately, the only USB-C cable I was able to work with was the one that came with it. I was hoping to use my longer cable (which worked with several other monitors) but for some reason I just got a 'No Input' message when I try to use it with this one. When using the HDMI connection the screen was initially very purple and had line and flicker issues, but I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to reset the display settings, everything worked fine after that. Another complaint I have is that they stick this type of plastic film to the screen, but it goes between the bezel and the screen, making it almost impossible to remove without some bits sticking. This is the case with mine and others I've seen in pictures. Small bits of plastic stick out around the edges of the screen, which seems ridiculous at this price point. Overall the monitor performs well despite these things, but I definitely think the price should be significantly lower as it doesn't offer much compared to others for less than half that price.
