Like; It works as it should to prevent the sealant from leaking out of the pipe. I recently discovered that handguns have a "pull factor" that determines how much force is exerted when you pull the trigger. The lower the ratio, the less likely sealant will leak from the tip of the hose being used. This one uses 7:1 (6:1 seems to be the lowest, and a 26:1 ratio gun is fine for newborns), so it's great for silicone, latex, and similar sealants that flow freely when pressure is exerted. It has an intentionally weak pickup spring that relieves pressure on the sealant hose when you let go of the trigger, making it drip-free. It works well and the frame is light. My only complaint is with the hex rod and the pressure plate that presses against the sealant tube. The threads should end below the top of the pressure plate so the plate is the only contact with the sealant hose. However, they cut out a few extra ones so that the stem and the hex nut holding it were sticking out of the plate. I think it will eventually break through the seal tube if enough force is applied; I was also concerned that the pressure from the pressure plate would not be evenly distributed and this could cause problems removing all of the sealant. I fixed this by removing the lock nut, putting on two washers (which had the same hole diameter as the hex bar), then screwing the nut back on. This seemed to take up the slack, and the bar now ends just below the surface of the pressure plate; only the plate is now in contact with the sealant hose. I emailed the company about this and a second one was sent to me as a thank you for pointing out this issue. I felt like the problem could be solved by simply riveting the pressure plate to the stem like they did on their 930-GTD. When I opened the box of the second pistol, the same problem arose. Maybe they will consider this "fix" later. Other than that the gun works fine so I recommend it to anyone who needs a low force gun for silicone and latex caulking. A few drops of oil on all moving parts will also help. The non-drip aspect is great as the gun I had before squeezed out almost as much sealant as I put in just after releasing the trigger. To be fair, this pistol (made by Cox in England) was billed as "non-drip", but you had to pull the rear-facing spring-loaded trigger and pull the push-rod every time you finished applying the sealant, which was awkward. . It also had a much higher draw ratio designed for high viscosity sealants. In that regard, this is the best pistol, especially for the casual user.
