My wife and I love this inexpensive solution to a problem we've had for years. The standard large arched window in our living room faded on the floor and furniture, not to mention blinding us when we tried to watch TV. However, it lets in a lot of light, but no direct sunlight. We took our time and measured our window very precisely. After seeing that some reviewers said they had issues with the curtain falling out of the window, we decided to leave the curtain stay up to prevent it from falling. We also found that our arched window had a nice open internal groove around the window, so we cut the blinds a shade larger than recommended. The extra two inches we used allowed the shadow to expand into that groove and hold it in place, although we didn't get a nice little open circle in the bottom center. Love what he did for us!
