Blanket feels like a tshirt so I had to adjust to that type of feel in comparison to a regular blanket, hard to explain. The blanket is very helpful when falling asleep because it is sooo cool in temp. However, body temp rises when sleeping & blanket does warm up a lil bit. The blanket is sooo much better than a throw or any other that I have tried because it doesn't cause me to ever sweat. Not the cure for menopausal night flashes but it certainly is very helpful. Btw, I don't need, nor have I used, the reverse side (warm side) and i bought the twin/small size because my husband & I do not share blankets well lol. Good deal in my opinion.
