Review on Thetford 92814 Porta Potti 345 - White, Compact and Portable 13 x 16.8 x 15-Inch Toilet by John Banks

When I took the top off for the second time (the first was to test) a button fell on the floor. This turns out to be a vent button (part M in the instructions). It closes with a spring so you can carry a full tank and then push on it so it empties smoothly. I didn't know any of this, but I saw the missing insides disappear into the sewers. That's bad enough. I then called Thetford 'Customer Service' and after 31 minutes of waiting I was put on voicemail. Not impressed. When I called the head office to ask if this was normal I received no answer and was put back in the customer service queue at number 17. I expected better customer service from an American company, but I know better. Good product. Apparently fragile, terrible customer service.
