I'm using it on a Dell XPS 15 9575 (2-in-1) and while gaming smaller risers lowered the temperatures on the CPU and GPU by more than 5 degrees (probably more than 710 for the processor). The taller risers didn't affect tempo, but made the keyboard more difficult to use when the angles were so wide. On a laptop where the bottom air intake isn't directly connected to a fan (like a MacBook), the temperature difference might be less pronounced, but just a gap between the surface and the fans makes a pretty big difference. ok but maybe because i'm not used to it i felt the tension in my hand so just feel the ergonomics around me. It's not the product's fault, it's just something to be aware of. The build quality is amazing, I'm not a big fan of brushed aluminum (they remind me of chalk dust which I don't like) but it's really sturdy and the rubber is very slip resistant. I don't know why they included a metal "stand" with tape and a piece of clear sticker. I want to believe that you can stick it to the laptop and stick the straps to the "stand". However, they were never described on the product page or packaging, so that's the only thing I can think of. So overall really cool and compact. I wouldn't work at every desk I would put my laptop in but if you have a more permanent setup it's pretty cool for temporary jobs.
