Review on Multitool Belt Pouch With Magnetic Closure - YKOOE Universal Nylon Tool Holster Sheath For Improved Convenience by Brian Motley

very nice minimalist EDC holster

I wanted a small, discrete, lightweight holster to make it easy to carry all my EDC babies - pocket knife, pen, and flashlight. I ended up with two versions of what appear to be identical holsters, this one is model YE-SHEATH-MC, and the other is YUS-SHEATH-SP which has the metal "button" on the face. The first has the magnets internal to the nylon casing while the former has them on the exterior. Otherwise, they are the same in dimensions, weight, material, construction, and features.Pictured are my Kershaw Leek, Civivi Elementum, and Civivi Altus. The only one that fits the best is the Altus with the least amount of movement. None are at any danger of falling out and they're all easy enough to pull out.I then remembered I have a Leatherman Surge - I didn't need a holster as I have the leather holster that came with it. But you can see that it fits these nylon holsters perfectly, like a glove. These also have holders on both ends; they are elastic and feel resilient - stretch but not saggy. A pen and a small flashlight will fit in these without any problem. Though I would definitely use clips to ensure they don't slip through the bottoms. The price is very reasonable for its functionality, build quality, and construction. I did not have an issue with the magnetic closures. They feel sufficiently strong enough to withstand normal activities (running, jumping, hiking). I placed my knives in, held them upside down, and gave them a pretty good shaking. The tops stayed on securely without a hint of the magnetic closures coming loose.
