I wear Asics shoes, size 10 fits. With this shoe, size 11 ensures the right fit. In my opinion a size 11 is not too long or too big and still offers a good fit all round. To be fair, I'm not a wrestler so 10 (which I could squeeze my foot into with toes forward and forefoot in a vise) might be tight for my purposes, but it might be right. for the target user.
