blocking works great!

I ordered a 1/10 unit and it has worked great so far. I had to buy a 1/2 hose kit with clamps as the unit only comes with large barbs by default, but the kit is only $10 so it's fine. There are a few things that should be corrected in the description. 1. The description says the unit uses R410a refrigerant, but the manual says the 1/10 model uses R134a refrigerant. I don't know what it is because I'm not an expert, but it doesn't match what the manual says.2. the greatest lack is the desire for power. It says it draws 460 watts of power, and I was worried it would be too much for an area with lights and pumps and all. When I got the unit I immediately plugged it in according to the instructions and as soon as I turned it on and it was in the middle of cooling it registered power consumption at a very reasonable level of 180W. I haven't used the fast cool option now that my resolution is low but don't know if that doubles the power consumption. currently 180 watts, although I'm more than satisfied with the cooling. Some things I'd like to see (I knew these weren't device features, but they would be very useful). 1. Connector for water pumps. At the moment the water pump runs 24/7 even when the device is not cooling the water, and turning off the pump shortly after the device has cooled will save some energy. My pump doesn't use an insane amount of electricity, but like anything that uses electricity, it generates heat that heats up faster than when the pump is not running, resulting in the unit running more frequently and longer than when the pump is running. switch off. It also increases the life of the pump as it doesn't have to run every minute of every day.2. After the device has cooled down, let the fans turn on for a few minutes. Now when it stops cooling and the compressor turns off, the fan also turns off, allowing the internal parts to warm up from the heat generated during cooling. If the fan kept running for a few minutes, the heat would be dissipated, extending the life of the components.3. included dang 1/2 barb kit with device lol. Overall the unit works great and it cools down to 65 degrees in less than an hour and it barely runs every hour so I'm very happy with its performance.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weak set
