Review on 🌡️ Inkbird ITC-608T Dual Temperature Sensor AC Thermostat - 12 Period Time Stage, 1800W ETL Listed by Andrew Dickens

Product looked good. It had a fairly thick power cord which is better than any competitor I've seen. He also had beautiful qualities. I particularly liked being able to set an alarm to sound when the temperature gets too high or too low. What I didn't like was that this "1800 watt" unit died a few hours after turning on the 1500 watt heater. I measured the power consumption with a Kill-A-Watt device, which showed that the peak power consumption was actually a little under 1500 watts (yes, the peak consumption was not over 1500 watts, 300 under the advertised power). UPDATE (8/31/2020): I decided to take a risk and replace it instead of a refund. The exchange lasted for almost a day before ceasing. Like the first time, it just went out and didn't light up or work anymore. No burning smell or other indication of why it failed. It just didn't work anymore. I will definitely never buy from Inkbird again. Such a controller MUST be reliable, but this block is NOT RELIABLE! Take it easy and buy another product. Before the first one arrived, I was using a 1650W DIGITEN unit, which I normally use to control my horses' tank heaters in Wisconsin winters. It worked fine for a couple of weeks, but I wanted a more powerful device. So I bought an Inkbird device. The Inkbird device looked more powerful and was rated at 1800 watts. After the first block died, I returned to the DIGITEN block and waited for a replacement. Now that the replacement has died I'm back to using the cheaper and less expensive DIGITEN device which continues to work perfectly. If that doesn't show what rubbish this pad of inkbirds is, I don't know what else to say.
