QUITE LOUD FLASHING LIGHTS SOMEWHAT DIM BUT WOULD BE SEEN IN THE DARK. I USED IT AS AN ALARM AND VISUAL LEACON WHEN GOING INTO THE FRIDGE. IF THE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOVE 45 THIS WAS AN ALARM.
