Teak furniture is expensive. This piece was a great value compared to other products I looked at. And now on the terrace it has survived the summer well and looks pretty old. The build is a bit complicated with very few instructions and parts that don't fit together well. What looks like the same part may need to be replaced with another almost identical part to put everything together correctly, and these are subtle differences between the parts that aren't noted in the almost non-existent instructions. I put it together myself in about an hour, so not too bad, but it's a fairly simple piece that could have been made a lot easier with more detailed instructions. It's well constructed so the screws are visible and the construction appears to be designed to hold together well without coming loose. I'll post again in a few years if it doesn't last.
