I liked Epson more than HP because they could use recycled inks. Epson then decided on a firmware update, which means that refilled cartridges are not recognized and the printer becomes an ugly decoration in the office and no longer works. Their ink cartridge prices are way too high and now they suddenly want you to use them without warning. I looked for ways to go back and found none. I will now throw away this printer and Epson if this is not fixed as soon as possible. Bad business practice. Support apologized and didn't find a solution or answer to this question? Now I'm looking at Brother and Cannon.
