Malfunctioning immediately

My Harbor Freight heat gun that I have been using for five years has finally failed. I only use it for shrink work so thought it would be perfect. It's smaller and runs at a more reasonable temperature for making heat shrink tubing. I was wrong in every way, it didn't work the first time. Didn't blow hot air on low or high, I could actually put my hand in front of it and it was just warm like a hair dryer on low. I immediately smelled the burning smell that stank in my garage even though it had only been on for a minute. This little guy's motor is louder than a big heat gun, even if it were actually working. So a complete failure. As I write this review, he returns to Revane.
