In the past, stabilizers were reserved for professionals only. A gyro stabilizer can cost you over $5,000, while a balanced steadicam costs about half that. Add microprocessors, accelerometers, and rare-earth brushless motors, and you get the same functionality for a few hundred dollars—really amazing. A word of warning, the model numbers are really confusing, so check the Feiyu website and make sure you're getting the exact model you think you're getting. Almost accidentally ordered a Sony camera mount. No more seasick viewers, even with the most dynamic driving style, the video is as fluid as silk. Another warning, this is Windows only and I'm an Apple employee, but this is only an issue if you want to update the firmware, which I don't recommend anyway as the instructions aren't clear. It's okay, the stabilizer works out of the box. The user manual is just as obscure, so let me give you the reader's version. Remove the batteries and charge them with the USB charger. Insert batteries. Press the power button on the end of the pen. Movie. There are also different modes if you press the button on the SIDE of the handle different times, just play with it and see what it does when you press it once, twice, three times etc.
