Very easy installation Two screws that mount vertically through the unit. It was so easy - it's a 24" model so it had to fit 32" (32 - 24 = 8 and 8/2 = 4) so measured just 4" from the edge and it was perfectly centered. over my sink. Then simply screw in the screws manually to secure and fix it. I chose to connect the unit with a power cord that plugs into an outlet above my microwave. I was able to route the wiring just by drilling a vertical hole above my cabinet above my microwave and running the power cord over the overhead cabinets (small space). Also, a three prong cable was used so it is grounded. The device comes with quick connectors so you can thread cables through them - no wire nuts required - for a secure connection. I tried GetInLight Swivel and dimmable LED cabinet lights. but returned. Was too long for the application and the swivel did not add any additional benefit. Also, the pivoting model was much more difficult to assemble due to the awful design of the mounting system. I love that it has a Low/Hi setting and three different brightness levels (6 settings total). I'm glad I chose it and not the rotating one. This is a very low profile so you can't even see it - you just see the light.
