This pan was recommended to me by a friend who is in cooking school and cooks dinner on the side. I was not disappointed with her recommendation. Pros: - Even heat distribution during cooking - there is no hot spot in this pan where everything will cook faster than the rest. - Large domed lid helps with cooking. This speeds up the process and helps retain moisture, allowing the meat to be more tender and juicy as it cooks. - Perfect grill marks - this was my number one need for a frying pan. I wanted those beautiful brown grill lines in my food - EASY to clean. This pan is nonstick and that label is true. But apart from that, the grill lines are very easy to clean. They roll more than the spikes on my cast iron grill pan, making cleanup almost as easy as a flat pan. Cons: - it's smaller. Whilst this was not a disadvantage for me as my family is 2 and it is perfect for cooking for two, I understand it will be a disadvantage for others. This is my pan for grilling meat or vegetables. Plate. This is great when I can't use my outdoor grill (e.g. when it's cold or raining because my outdoor grill isn't covered) or when I just don't feel like lighting it up. I've used this pan all winter, averaging 2-4 times a week, and now that summer is here I still use it about once a week.
