Bought this as an Xmas gift. Recipient was very pleased at first but I recently learned that after a couple weeks she started to smell some sort of chemical burning smell and it developed a "hot spot” where it got too hot. Her sister is a chemist and said it smells like the wiring is shoddy and burning up, probably where the hotspot was, so she never used it after the first couple weeks. Be careful!
