I recently bought a new 50" 4K TV. As with many new TVs, the sound wasn't the best. I decided to connect the TV to my Yamaha home theater receiver which used a Sony 5.1 speaker configuration (circa 2000). While it was an improvement in the TV's sound, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I decided to upgrade the speakers and went from a 5.1 setup to a 3.1 setup (center, left, right and subwoofer). This was the first piece of the puzzle. And WOW, what a difference. The sound is much cleaner and fuller than what I had before. I was so pleased with it that I added a pair of Klipsch R41 bookshelf speakers left and right to my setup. These three and my old subwoofer (planning to order a new one for Christmas this year) sound fantastic. Whether I'm watching TV, a football game or a 4K movie, they sound great. And when I switched to music, what clarity again! I could turn the volume up to a very loud level and there was no distortion. When some reviewers said it might not take up much space, I'd really like to understand how much space they have? I'm in a room that's about 12 by 20 and completely fills the room with sound. This is my first purchase from Klipsch and I will say if this is any testament to the quality of the product then I am a fan for life.
