This tool did exactly what it needed to do, expanding sections of pipe so I could customize them bit by bit and finally creating the exhaust I made that the one I got obviously didn't work. It looked like a return that someone had NOT lubricated before being hit with a hammer so bad some threads were broken and badly damaged. I was finally able to electrocute the damn thing, clean the threads, and apply some ARP grease. It worked wonders and after some tweaking it felt serviceable. I recommend that you test the tool before using it, but LUBRICATE THE THREADS first. Lubrication is included for a reason. Hope that helps.
