Use it to chop cauliflower/broccoli instead of rice
I used to buy rice broccoli/cauliflower to use in place of rice when making Indian curry or preparing dishes like mapo tofu to reduce carbs to reduce. The rice products in the store are mostly made from stalks and dealing with frozen bags/discarded plastic felt like too much. and it is very easy to clean compared to any type of rice frying machine. Many Japanese box curries, like Tasty Hayashi Rice Mix, have recipes that call for lots of chopped onions. I can cut an onion into small pieces so quickly my eyes don't have time to tear.
