This product adds Bluetooth and an extra input to my old Toyota! The sound quality is excellent. Set your head unit to a CD to listen to this. Select the CD again and listen to the CD. The CD button now simply toggles between the CD changer itself and this new input (Bluetooth or Aux). It should be noted that the BTS-TY1 box must remain accessible after installation (as well as in the glove compartment). It automatically switches from Bluetooth to Aux inputs when something is plugged into the Aux input. Putting it entirely behind the dash and providing USB and Aux via an extension cable (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KGMJ5N/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) neatly mounted in the dash was a blow to my plan, instead of a lighter one. I still have the USB and Aux in in dash as planned but I needed this box and the aux cable from the extension to be available in the glove box. I will use the bluetooth function first but I need to connect an aux extension to this unit if I want to use the aux input. At least everything is hidden.
