Plugging a 3.5mm AUX-in jack into disables Bluetooth functionality.

This product adds Bluetooth and an extra input to my old Toyota! The sound quality is excellent. Set your head unit to a CD to listen to this. Select the CD again and listen to the CD. The CD button now simply toggles between the CD changer itself and this new input (Bluetooth or Aux). It should be noted that the BTS-TY1 box must remain accessible after installation (as well as in the glove compartment). Installed on my 2003 Toyota Highlander Limited

It's been around 3 months since I installed this bluetooth adapter and so far it hasn't disappointed. I've taken several 3.5 hour car rides using the XM radio via my cell phone and there was no clutter or interference the entire drive! Dealing with a poor FM connection blurred by local broadcast stations is a win-win! Works well most of the time

I bought this for my 1998 Toyota Sienna because I was tired of having to use a cassette tape adapter (which is incompatible at best) and wanted an easier way to listen to music, especially on long drives. If there hadn't been a few things it would have been 5 stars.
