Review on iPEGTOP Large Expandable Over Sink Dish Drying Rack with Cutlery Holder - Rustproof Stainless Steel Dish Rack Shelf Drainer for Sink or Counter by Jason Staggs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as functional as the one it replaces

I bought one a year ago and although it has been kept clean it has lost its luster. This one is about 1 inch smaller. The plate wire holding the plates is slanted so the dishes don't line up with the hole to sit straight to dry. This creates a domino effect in which the dishes are at an angle to the horizontal, so that fewer dishes can be placed. The picture shows the utensils standing up straight, which just can't be the case when the rest is tipped back and forth. The cutlery stand is surprisingly small and half the size of my original. It's 1.5 inches. W x 3.5"H x 7"L. My oldest is 5.5"H x 2.5"W x 7"L. I want to go back to how things were made so that the Engineering is not an afterthought and the purpose of is for the unit - whatever that may be - to be fully functional and not constrained by attempts to reduce manufacturing costs I am hesitant to get rid of my old one now because this one is only 3" in the sink sits, leaving most of the storage space under the counter rather than taking full advantage of the floor space.

Pros
