Good sketchbook to take with you on the go
These sketchbooks are small enough to fit in my work bag and large enough , so I can draw comfortably. The quality of the paper is textured to give me enough teeth to sketch. The open spine is no problem for me - I use colored tape to "decorate" the cover and make the book jacket. Paper, and heavy use, will cause the pages to "bleed" until you fill the hole in the page. I would pick this sketchbook mainly for the pencils and pens. It's also very durable and I fall back on it immediately when I run out of pages in my current sketchbook!
