My old fan unit made noises when switched on. It was annoying and you had to turn up the radio to hear it. Replacement of the rear fan. fits perfectly and according to a youtube video it took about 15 minutes (including getting all the tools). Very simple and works great. ----------------Updated July 2015 - After three months, the fan keeps making a lot of noise. Either the bearings are defective or the lubrication is insufficient. I will have to replace the fan motor. $57 and 3 months later I'm not buying another TYC fan. Poor quality control from China.
