I bought these bulbs for my bearded dragons as they are advertised as heat bulbs for bearded dragons. I just put in a lightbulb this morning, less than 5 hours later it exploded in my tank, not my mount from the ceiling, leaving a glass blast all over half of the tank. Thank goodness my dragon was still in his lair at the time, because it could have ended very badly: either a cut or death. They advertise them as if they are good lightbulbs, while upon opening you realize they are of poor quality. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I used them anyway since I already had them and didn't have an extra heating bulb. at hand. If you really care about your animals I would not buy these bulbs and rather prefer more expensive and decent ones because in the end you will save yourself some money and maybe even a house because you could always catch fire.
