Before buying a tablet, I did some research and decided on the Coby Kyros 8-inch MID8125. So far, so good. As a college student on a budget, I can say this was a very good purchase. I can do pretty much anything I can do on any other tablet for a lot less. I can use it as an e-reader (with a downloaded Kindle app or to read PDFs stored on a micro SD card I bought for about $5), watch movies, listen to music, surf the internet and much more. The touchscreen works great with most functions I've come across so far. not as much volatility/resistance as some other reviews have mentioned. The on-screen keyboard was a bit difficult to use at first, but after a few days I got used to it well. Android Market didn't come preinstalled (which isn't very nice), but I just kept an eye on it. Directions and comments on daprospecta [.] YouTube video and the market was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Spoke to Coby Customer Service about a small error I caused on my Kyros. They were very helpful and helped me solve the problem in less than 5 minutes. Overall I am very happy with my Coby Kyros. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for buying a tablet especially if they are on a tight budget. - rob.
