We bought this upstairs vacuum to maintain hardwood floors, stairs and small carpets. Have been using it weekly for over 8 months now. It was amazing value for money and I would highly recommend it for similar uses. Positive: - Strong suction (comparable to our expensive Miele). We bought an affordable 12" horsehair brush head (pictured) for hardwood floors and this combo got our floors very clean. It also works well on tiles, baseboards and small bathroom rugs. Easy to clean! The entire vacuum cleaner can be easily disassembled in less than 2 minutes (photo). You can clean it in the sink and let the two filters air dry. This makes it look good and you can easily remove any hair/dust from the vacuum cleaner. Light! It's very easy to carry around and go down stairs. A device the size of a basketball. No bags! The container is easy to empty and clean. Cons: - Hard floor brush head really needs to be built in. (In our other reviews we have a brush and coupler if you want to use our system.) - The hose kinks quite easily. It looks like flimsy plastic and we expect to have to replace it in the next few years due to a really bad crease or tear. That never happens at Miele. A great vacuum cleaner for the price!
