Very easy to assemble, less than 10 minutes. The seat is made of very comfortable, easy-to-clean vinyl. Neutral color is versatile. I am disabled and have to sit at a low counter most of the time while cooking and then I need more height for the stove and sink. My weight is 200 pounds. I found that I could not safely raise the hydraulics to the highest level. I was afraid of falling when I sat down as the seat is much smaller than the average office chair. The rear support is too low and also tiny. Impossible to disassemble the base from the seat and repackaging for an authorized return was difficult.
