
It was supposed to reflect 80% of the heat but after I wrapped my cold air intake pipe found it added 7-8 degrees to its normal temperature. It's the same effect as some silver insulated reflective tape that didn't even advertise it. And that was $17 more for a total of $39. What a waste of money and false advertising. If you're like me and want to lower your intake air temp, you need to get a turbo. Unfortunately, that's the only way until they invent something that gets colder as the engine warms up.
