
I used these on the mk6 VW Jetta - 14mm to remove the caliper and 18mm to remove the rear hub. I had to re-tighten it with 133 ft-lbs of torque plus 180 degrees and the 18mm fit. The heads have three different drive sizes: 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2. The largest have a round hole rather than solid ones on the triple square side. Is it tamper protection or is it just a manufacturing artifact? I didn't want this, thinking it might make them weaker for the heavy torque I had to apply, but they did.
