Pros: Price Ease of use User-changeable combo High quality construction No ridiculous lock mode reviews show this lock has worked for others but not me. I've tried 2 of these locks on 2 laptops (Dell and HP), 2 printers (both HP) and an external hard drive (Seagate) and they will NONE of them secure. The T-bar that is inserted into the slot is very loose in the locked position. Loosening wouldn't be a problem if the push button retraction pins were the same length as a T-bar, but they aren't. The ends of the retraction pins only reach the bottom of the T-bar, leaving very little to prevent the T-bar from twisting and being removed. I was able to do this with very little effort and without tools in about 2-3 seconds without damaging the slot on the devices. Plastic washers against the surface of the lock (where the scratch resistant pad sits) could additionally be used for a tight fit if the length of the retractable pin was fixed. Too bad, this is exactly the design I was looking for. If this product didn't have this fatal flaw I would give it 5 stars. I return them and keep looking. Company Sendt, write a comment if you fix this problem, otherwise I like the lock very much and I would buy more if it would serve its function.
