Works perfectly! - Basically (Sounds like HDMI WiFi noise)

I've spent a lot of time looking for an adapter for my new 2018 MacBook Pro. When I say many hours, I mean many hours. I finally narrowed it down to two from CharJen Pro. I finally chose this adapter because of the connectors and the size. So far it has met my expectations. I prefer to use the HDMI connection. After my new MacBook Pro was set up, I connected the adapter to it. There was a satisfying click confirming it was fully installed. I connected the charging cable to the adapter and connected the HDMI cable to the TV that I use as a monitor and everything worked perfectly. The laptop started charging, and the TV immediately had an ideal-sized desktop. I've used it for over 20 hours and not a single problem with HDMI. The adapter gets warm but never hot. Another benefit was that the HDMI connection worked every time the Mac booted up without having to unplug and plug the adapter back in. I then copied files from an external USB hard drive to my MacBook Pro while using HDMI. The adapter worked great here too. I didn't notice any lags or issues, and I didn't find any corruption issues. The files are just copied, just like on my old Mac. I then used my Time Machine drive connected to the adapter and backed up my new Mac. Everything worked as expected with no problems. I also tested my WiFi with the adapter connected, running over HDMI and disabled, and the connection stayed the same with no noticeable difference in connection speed. I've only had the adapter for a week so time will tell on durability but this adapter is the perfect size to fit in the front pocket of my Tomtoc bag and the design looks great next to my Mac. I haven't stress tested to see how many things I can do simultaneously with this adapter outside of the HDMI and copy and backup files mentioned above, and I won't do that as that's not my use case. . I just need something to reliably view HDMI and copy files and so far this adapter has worked great for me. EDIT: 1/20/19. affects the WiFi signal is wrong. I bought some Wi-Fi signal analysis software to reposition the hotspot because I noticed the connection speed on my 2018 MacBook Pro suddenly became slower. Using software, I tested my MBP with the adapter connected and disconnected. The noise level with the adapter connected would go from -79 to -76 dBm, and with the noise level switch off -96 to -91 (the more negative the less noise, so -90s is better than -70s). ). The signal seemed to suffer the most when the HDMI cable was connected from the TV to the adapter. My WiFi never goes down, it just slows down when the noise increases. I also noticed my RSSI went up slightly when I connected the adapter to my TV. It's still very capable, and when I tested it, I found that my wireless connection speed wasn't as fast as my other MacBook Pro that wasn't connected to anything. I'm deducting one star because I can't give five stars if the protection is inadequate. The DisplayPort to HDMI adapter on my old 2010 MacBook Pro is an inexpensive Lumsing adapter that does affect WiFi noise, but is minimal in comparison. Noise fluctuations of -10 to -15 dBm significantly affect the connection speed.
