To be honest I'm a bit surprised that I have strong feelings (positive or negative) about the iron to write a review. But unfortunately I'm here. Quite simply, this is the best iron I have ever used. As a man who doesn't plan far ahead, I iron clothes as needed and this iron makes the job as easy and quick as possible. Pros: 1. This iron is heavy even before you fill the tank with water. A heavy iron is a good iron. Cheap plastic irons don't work well for some reason; they are not heavy enough to iron out creases in clothes.2. This iron heats up very quickly. When you iron your shirt in the morning before you go to work, you need speed. This iron does not disappoint.3. This iron is inexpensive. The price was the same as the cheap plastic irons above but much better in every way. This iron has simple controls. Sort of like a blender with an on/off switch, this iron has all the controls you need for functionality and nothing more. Disadvantages: none.
