I installed one of these straps on my Eureka to match the type R strap. The whisk did not spin on the carpet. I tried the second strap that came with the kit. The whipping brush still wasn't spinning on the carpet. I then disassembled the vacuum to make sure the belt tensioner was ok. Still couldn't get the vacuum to work. After spending a lot of time I ordered another type R belt from another (known) manufacturer. I noticed that this belt was tighter. Problem solved - the vacuum cleaner works again!
