I bought this motor for my 12ft fishing kayak to try and keep my hands from rowing while fishing. The motor runs great, is nice and light and propels me at a good speed that I would definitely recommend for anglers on a budget. The included kayak holder, on the other hand, is not that great. This thing won't last. There is plenty of room where the nuts sit in the molded plastic, forcing the nut to rotate rather than snagging for secure tightening. When the engine is turned on, the mount moves. If you buy this motor, get the one that comes with the regular transom mount.
