Powerful small motor is easy to assemble.

Great little motor with 24 lbs of thrust, I installed it on a Trophy 126 fishing kayak I modified it with heavier nuts and bolts and a tite lock and also used a metal plate mount in the kayak, holds the tite.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not bad

The propeller is cheap. Cut off on first use. .

The propeller is cheap. Cut off on first use. Now I have to spend $22 for a replacement after 5 minutes of use. GET A SPARE SCREW WHEN YOU BUY THIS. The trolling motor itself is fine. The kayak holder is cheap, but also okay.

Bracket needs to be adjusted

This would be 5 stars if they only paid about $5 more for the mount. I've been a carpenter for 14 years and I can build anything. Whoever designed this mount had a great idea, but it was cheap. It doesn't work on the first use. I have used my kayak 4 times before it worked perfectly for me, it works great now but if they just designed the mount better it would save a lot of stress. I had 4 bolts tight on the bolts and I epoxy where the vertical tube meets the bracket because it will move when…

Great motor Bad mount

I bought this motor for my 12ft fishing kayak to try and keep my hands from rowing while fishing. The motor runs great, is nice and light and propels me at a good speed that I would definitely recommend for anglers on a budget. The included kayak holder, on the other hand, is not that great. This thing won't last. There is plenty of room where the nuts sit in the molded plastic, forcing the nut to rotate rather than snagging for secure tightening. When the engine is turned on, the mount moves…

Excellent product and service 5+ stars

A pleasure to work with. I had a small delivery window and they made sure the item was there on time. The motor runs great, is good value, light weight and mounting the bracket was easy. I read a few reviews that said the mount was bad, but I read between the lines and realized I was getting a well-designed mount that just needs a little tweaking and knowing how to use it. A couple of wing nuts and making sure it's tight is all it takes. The mount looks good, has a light print and I don't have…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Repair

No complaints about the motor but as others have said the kayak mount is useless. It was designed to be infinitely adjustable, meaning there are plenty of adjustment points that can work a little slack. When the engine is running, especially in high speed mode, there is no way to prevent the juddering. The adjustment knobs that are meant to hold the horizontal tube in place cannot be hand tightened enough to lock everything in place. A better design would be to add the ability to lock the…

DO NOT BUY Do not buy the biggest low quality Watersnaje trolling motor!

I was incredibly encouraged by this product and I installed it as instructed and the best it could do for me was spend its time drilling four screw holes in my kayak if you not use it then water will get in and after two and a half hours on the way to the lake the first time I will use it when I turn it on I hold the conductor in my hands, broken, destroyed by its poor quality, and the Product has knobs that are hand tightened and no matter how hard I squeeze them and I'm a six foot man who has

Great trolling motor and mount for the money

After reading some of the reviews I didn't know what to expect. The mount that others have complained about isn't that bad. Having multiple kayaks, I was able to easily switch between bindings before deciding which ones it works best with. Now I plan to order the 2nd and 3rd motors with a mounting kit. Yes, it seems weak, but it gets the job done. I had no problems with that. It holds up well on my 12 foot pedscador and propels the boat forward at a top speed of 4.5 mph. Which battery to use…
