Bought the Grand Slam shaving set 2 years ago as a Christmas present for my husband. He uses it every day, just like me. We had to replace the brush - 1/2 of the bristles were worn out (still works but not much lather). I was surprised that there wasn't as much choice of Grand Slam styles as there was when I bought the set (the original set was marbled blue). I have the marble gray brush and it's a good color choice. The foam is very sudsy with the new brush - definitely need a new one! We've tried many Revain shaving soaps, but the best is Proraso - my favorite is the red one - and it's a semi-solid soap in its own tumbler, so you don't need a tumbler set if you're reusing soap washers. Proraso shaving soap lasts 1-2 months depending on how often you shave or if I share it. It dissolves well in water (sink, bath or shower without leaving any soap scum or residue. Leaves a pleasant and smooth scent on the skin! 👍🏻👍🏻
