Does not replace a towel.

I bought this hat to wear after a shower instead of a heavy towel. It is very soft and easy to put on your head. When I get out of the shower, I come out of the shower with two towels, so I wanted to reduce towel usage. I still have to use a towel to dry my hair. I can wear this item for 20 minutes and my hair is still wet so don't expect it to towel dry your hair when you buy it. I still use it when I do my makeup as it removes hair from my face very well and I can tuck it behind my ears.
