My 2006 Prius fan has failed. Toyota's new one was over $100, so this one was half the price and worth a try. I had previously replaced one with an 06 Vibe and knew I could do it. There are some good videos on You Tube that walk you through the whole process. The design and brackets are OEM and overall this is a good copy. Everything worked fine when plugged in and the motor was quiet. It's been two weeks so far so good. It's tight there. I'm not a big guy and I have the right tools, but it took me about 2 hours to swap them out. Some people need less time and that may be true for them, but I was careful as I didn't want to break another part when replacing the fan. The bottom panel has to be taken apart and how to put it back together is not entirely intuitive, so take extra care and make sure the screws are separated and labeled so the correct ones are put back in their original place.
