The light works great, dual purpose.

Headlights are bright, work very well. Really nice for the price. If you have a coating on the bed liner, the adhesive backing may not stick very well and will most likely fall off after a while. It's not because of a bad sticky pad, it's just used on uneven surfaces. What I did was buy some small round (nickel sized) neodymium magnets. Choose strong ones, not super thin ones. Super magnets make some good ones. Place the magnet on the sticky pad found on the back of each lantern. Take a utility knife, gently press and just cut the red ribbon around the magnet. Now remove the round foil circle and attach the magnet to the light. Now you can place this lamp anywhere on the body of your truck. The magnets are strong and easily hold the lights in place. I was able to start my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Larmie from the tailgate of the truck and placed 3 headlights on each side and the wires hold because the magnets hold. Then I ran a light side mostly under the front of the truck body. He routed the cables across the open area at the top left of the bed next to the cockpit. The wire ran along the side of the truck, mainly in the wheel arch area. I decided to run just one wire (2 wires) into the cockpit and hook up another set of lights. I found a spot next to the left rear seat bracket, drilled a small hole and used a grommet, fed the wire through and sealed the wire area with silicone. There is a wire connector under the right rear seat on the right hand side and using a 12v test light I found a hot wire coming from the dome lights. I have this wire for positive. + used, I think it was yellow/black, and I used a locking plug. Did the same for the black wire in this harness and it was negative. Light work is ideal. Even if you don't have dusted bedding and want to use magnets, it's good if you change your mind about where to install it, just move the lights because they're attached to the magnets. Another plus, assuming you do a flat tire in the dark, just start at the back of the truck, remove the headlights and hang them over the side of the truck and now you have lights to change tires. Welcome back.
