I just started using these silver protective cases for my sterling silver jewelry - necklaces, pendants, earrings and rings - by placing a small square of this paper in the small airtight plastic bags that artisans often use when sending us theirs send jewellery. that we order. In the past I have always kept my sterling silver jewelry in my jewelry cabinet, but some of my sterling silver rings still show stains. The others were fine. I hope none of my jewelry will tarnish in this process, and if it does, I can catch it before it actually tarnishes! I have read many reviews about this product and I think that they should work very well. Everyone says the key is to get the air out of plastic bags and sterling silver should stay bright and shiny indefinitely! I look forward to not having to worry about "polishing" and/or "cleaning" my jewelry!
