I was looking for a chair that would last me until I settled on a super expensive chair. So I decided to buy a chair similar to the Hon chairs I used in the office 20 years ago. They were fine and I knew one of the kids might get it later. I am very happy with this chair! It has *many* adjustments that more expensive chairs have. Comfortable deep fit, suitable for people with different body types. The armrests are soft but firm (no soft foam). The padded seat provides support so you don't sink to the ground. The back is high enough to support my neck when I recline (even though I'm not tall). It seems really durable as I could use this chair daily for over 10 years. This chair was *exactly* what I was looking for, and I put off the search for an expensive chair. I have combined this chair with a Samsonite gel backrest, which I replace when necessary.
